The Minor AABC League is
offered to metro independent teams in the single age groups of 9U
through 14U. Each age group will consist of AABC Division I playoff
teams and in some cases Division II. The difference in divisions
will be determined by the league president and awarded accordingly
at the end of each spring season.
All team managers will be
responsible for the registered teams required paperwork, insurance
and scheduled games. (Including umpire accommodations and fees for
home games).
West Georgia Baseball AABC
League will allow 1 team for every 4 registered to participate in
AABC Playoffs annually per age group. AABC of Georgia offers
District, State, Regional and World Series play to all playoff teams
in a double elimination format to Division I teams and only a State
Tournament to its Division II teams. Any coach seeking to play in
AABC playoffs will be required to finish out the playoffs once
entered and certified. Failure to complete any entered tournament
will create a League Tournament Forfeit Fee of $200 and a 1 year
suspension from the league and AABC Playoff participation.
All teams entering the AABC
Playoffs will be known as West Georgia Baseball teams. (Example:
Marietta Monarchs would be listed as West Georgia Monarchs)
Please review the AABC League
Requirements and assure before tournament certification dates that
you have abided and carry a complete package to be certified. Should
you have any question feel free to call WGB.
FALL LEAGUE PLAY
Because AABC does not
recognize a fall season, any team entering the WGB Fall League will
be sanctioned BPA for the following year and a Fall League
Championship Tournament will be offered at the end of the season.
This Championship tournament will be a buy in BPA World Series
Qualifier Tournament and open to any BPA Sanctioned team. (Entry
will be based on availability and first come reserved bases. Usually
a minimum of 8 teams per age level.)
